Chrysler offers one of the most comprehensive Certified Pre-owned Vehicle programs in the industry. For a vehicle to be certified under Chrysler’s used- vehicle program, it must be a 2002 through 2007 model pre-owned vehicle with less than 65,000 miles and pass a stringent 125-point mechanical, safety and condition standard inspection.

Sometimes car advertising is a literal balancing act. Decades ago Lincoln showed a diamond cutter performing his craft in the back seat. More recently, Lexus famously balanced a pyramid of champagne glasses on the hood of a running (but not moving) LS. Now Chrysler shows kids playing Jenga in the back of a Town Country minivan to advertise its smooth ride and flexibility of the Swivel n’ Go seating.

It is expected that the technology, which shuts off the engine when the vehicle is stopped and starts it back up when the brake pedal is released, will improve fuel economy by about five percent. Hybrid vehicles are equipped with similar systems, including GM’s “mild hybrids.” Stop/start technology is also currently in use on conventional engines in Europe by both BMW and Smart.

Town and Country ideal for a family road trip in style Chrysler isn’t huge on the breed of crossovers which are taking over the world one driveway at a time- but they’ve just updated their famous minivan lineup. It’s a different ball game for the new generation of sliding-door superheroes, because Chrysler is now the only American automaker to offer them. The Chrysler minivans have received many updates over the years. Town and Country is the upscale luxury model based on the Grand Caravan.

Chrysler’s decision to eliminate the four vehicle models and cut up to 10,000 U.S. factory jobs over the next 14 months angered critics in the United Auto Workers union who said a four-year labor contract that was narrowly ratified last month did not go far enough to protect U.S. factory jobs.

7. “These 08 Chrysler vans offer a wide spectrum of new, functional & innovative features (swivel & go, 6 speed trans, entertainment options, lifetime power train warranty) and are clearly the best value among the competitors. They may lose out to the Japanese vans on the fit & finish and refinement. Ha-”given up on life”, sad statement if being in a particular vehicle has that strong of an effect.
