The Chrysler Foundation and Newark Assembly Plant Donate $27,000 to the FoodBank of DelawareNEWARK, Del., Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ — The Chrysler Foundation and theChrysler LLC Newark Assembly Plant will present the Food Bank of Delaware witha truckload of food and a $27,000 donation today. The donation will go towardthe Food Bank’s Mobile Pantry Program.

The plant, which assembles the DodgeDurango and Chrysler Aspen, decided to donate to the nonprofit after itannounced earlier this year that its food inventory was at an all-time low.
